Here is how I get a number one ranking on Google in two hours or less for almost any keywords, almost any topic. Includes actual example and proof that it works.
At 9:27 AM, on April 10, 2007, I uploaded a short video to YouTube and Google Video.
The video was a short tutorial showing how to accomplish a task in Adobe PhotoShop Elements.
Within 2 hours, I had a top Google ranking for the keywords 'PhotoShop Elements Tutorial' and 'Photoshop Elements Extractor' and 'Photoshop Elements Magic' as well as many other keywords.
You read correctly.
I achieved a top ranking on Google for the highly competitive words 'Photoshop Elements', in less than 2 hours.

Getting a top Google ranking in two hours or less
The first step to getting a top ranking on Google is to produce a short video related to the keywords you want Google to index.
In this case, I used Camtasia Studio to create the video. (It took me less than 12 minutes to shoot, edit, and upload to YouTube.)
The second step is to go to www.YouTube.com, and click the 'upload video' link. This will take you to the video upload screen.
On the video upload screen, you will be asked to enter the video title, video description and video tags.
What you enter in these three fields will determine your ranking on Google.
The screen shot below shows what I entered which resulted in a top google ranking in less than two hours after uploading the video.
You'll notice that in the video title, I included the keywords that I felt would be most likely searched for - ie: photoshop elements & tutorial.
You will want to include similar words for your videos.
In the video description, I added more details, being careful to repeat the keywords from the title, while adding even more keywords. The description doesn't need to grammatically correct. It should be understandable and include as many keywords as you can fit.
And finally, in the keyword entry, I entered the same keywords that I had entered in the title and description - along with a few more. Be sure to separate your keywords with spaces, not commas.
The goal of all this is to give Google enough information to properly index the video, and to reinforce the strength of the keywords by repeating them in the title, description and keyword entry fields.
Two to four hours after you upload your video, search Google for your keywords (remember to click on the 'video' link on the search results page), to see how well you rank.
Supercharging the Results
If you search Google for the keywords I used in the video mentioned above, you'll see that I actually have the top 3 listings on Google for those keywords - and all those listings point to the same video (see for yourself at http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=photoshop+elements+magic&hl=en ).
Since Google indexes both sites, the three uploaded copies of my video have the top three positions on Google search.
Getting a top ranking pays off
As video becomes the preferred content on the internet, more and more Google searchers have learned to use the 'video' link on the Google search results page to narrow down the results to just videos which include the keywords being searched for.
As an early adopter, you can use this to your advantage by uploading short videos to YouTube and Google Video, which can help drive more traffic to your own web sites.
