My $20,000 eBay sale this past week

Printer-Friendly Format

Like a lot of people, I use eBay auctions to buy things. For example, in last week's tip I mentioned I recently found and purchased via eBay a computer keyboard I'd been looking for.

What I didn't mention in last week's tip was I also use eBay auctions to sell things. And in fact, this past week, one of my eBay auction listings resulted in a winning bid of over $21,000!

That's right. Last week, an item I listed for sale on eBay sold for more than twenty one thousand dollars!!!

Yep, that's a lot of money. Twenty One Thousand Dollars! And the winning bidder has already paid me.

When I shared my auction results and the eBay listing link with members of my site, many suggested I put a copy of the auction in our articles section so they could use it as a template for their own successful auction listings.

And I've done just that.

No only did I include a scrolling image of the full auction listing, I also included all the text from the auction so it can be easily copied and used by our members as a starting point for their own eBay auction listings.

It's still hard to believe I received a winning bid of more than twenty one thousand dollars for my auction item - but I did. And it proves that even in our slow economy, if you have the right item for sale and you present it well, there can be buyers for it.

Who knows, you may have a twenty thousand dollar auction item sitting around your home just gathering dust, waiting for you to list it on eBay.

It only takes a few minutes to create the listing, especially if you start out with a successful template.

You can find my auction listing at http://www.bmyers.com/members/2185.cfm
