Changing just one word can make a big difference
Can changing just one word in the title of your how-to product make a difference? Yes, according to John Cooksey, who sells upwards of 500 how-to products a month on eBay. While speaking at our recent DVD production workshop, John shared with us that when he started using the word 'training' in his product titles, his sales went up significantly. He explained it this way. "People looking for how-to products don't search for the words 'how to'. Instead, they usually search for 'training'". By including the word 'training' in his titles, his products are found much more often, leading to more sales. A simple idea, with proven results.
