Shoot for the future
Wouldn't it be nice if you had photos showing how your grandparents celebrated the holidays 50 years ago? Or maybe photos of your father getting his first car? Or your mother getting ready for her senior prom? Unfortunately, for most people, historical photos like these, showing the great as well as the everyday events of their loved ones' lives, are often in short supply. The problem was until recently getting photos developed was relatively expensive. But these days, there's really no excuse for you miss out on documenting your family, your children, and your life. With a digital camera, the only cost to shooting and storing photos is your time. If you do have a digital camera, make it a point this year to take photos of your family and friends as you celebrate the holidays and life. Shoot photos of the people, the places, the things - everything. Look at these photos as being a gift to someone 50 years in the future wanting to know what you life was like back in the 'good old days'. Your grandchildren will appreciate it. And who knows, if someday you become famous, these photos could
be used in your biography on the History Channel. But only if
someone takes the time to shoot the photos.
