Sometimes success is just a matter of finding the right tool
Bill Myers
Have you ever tried to hammer a nail into a board using a shoe instead of a hammer? Or tried to remove a Phillips head screw with a standard screw driver? If you have, you know how frustrating it can be trying to accomplish even simple tasks when you don't have the right tools at hand. The same is true for project developers. Creating even simple projects can be a long, painful process if you don't have access to the right tools. But with the right tools, some projects can be developed almost as easily as driving a nail with a hammer. That's why I spend a lot of time searching for specialized tools I can use in product development . . . because project success often hinges on whether you have the right tool to get the job done. A good example are the two project ideas I posted at our web site this week. Both are interesting ideas, but without the proper tools, the projects could take months to complete. That's why I made it a point to provide a link to the exact tool needed to complete both projects - a tool that means the projects could be completed in a matter of hours - instead of months. My advice? Before you start any project, make sure you have the right tools to get the job done.
