Relax . . . it's the holidays

This is a special time of year for us all. A time to get together with our loved ones to spend what is often called 'quality time'. In days past, long before TV, computers, cell phones, video games, and the general rush to get it done, quality time was pretty much 'all the time'. Families lived together, worked together, ate most meals together, went on trips together, and generally spent most of their free time with other family members or close neighbors. Most of us had never heard the term 'quality time' until we realized we had lost it. For many of us who work for ourselves, the main goal of our business endeavors is not the pursuit of money, but the pursuit of more quality time to spend with those we love. But we can lose sight of these goals, as our work takes more and more of our time. That's why, especially at this time a year, it is a good idea to let go of our focus on business( at least temporarily) and just relax. Turn the entrepreneur meter down a few notches, and spend time enjoying life with the family. Doing so will make you remember what quality time is all about.
