New DVD from Bill Myers - Metal Detecting Florida Beaches

The two most important words in marketing?

Printer-Friendly Format

Always include these two words with every customer contact you have

I buy a lot of products over the internet - mostly items to help me create new products.

For the most part, these purchases are made from small companies, but occasionally I buy from the big outfits.

In dealing with various companies, I've noticed something that separates the successful ones (those most likely to get my future business) and the unsuccessful ones (the ones I'll never order from again).

That something?

The use of the words 'thank you'.

The good companies say 'thank you' when I request information. They say 'thank you' when I purchase their product. And they say 'thank you' when I order more products.

More often than not, the thank you message inspires confidence in a company, and makes buying their products a happier experience. And the thank you message also makes learning about and ordering additional products easier (because the thank you message often includes information about other products).

And the companies that don't bother to include thank you messages? They fall off my radar.

What about you? Are you using the two most important words in marketing to build good customer relations? Or are you letting this simple opportunity slip away?
