Getting There . . .
Bill Myers

A short lesson on setting and reaching your personal and business goals

One of the keys to long term success as a product developer/marketer is to continually evaluate:

  1. Where you are now
  2. Where you are going
  3. Where you want to be in three years

Next, take your answers and compare those to:

  1. What products your customers want to buy now
  2. What products your customers will want in a few months
  3. What products your customers will want a few years from now

Review your answers and then try to figure out a way to get the two lists to 'sync up'. If you can do that, you'll be doing exactly what you want with your life, making a living by developing products your customers want, when they want them.

But the key is to first figure out what you want, what your customers want, and then a way to achieve both.

See an article detailing our own answers to the above questions, and the kind of new products we plan to develop, at http://www.bmyers.com/members/468.cfm
