Return to Sender
Bill Myers
Don't be an 'undeliverable' I get about 250 emails a day - most of which I respond to immediately (except email with attachments or email in html format which I discard without opening). Replying to all this email takes quite a bit of time on my part - as most of the email involves questions that the emailer wants answered (most of the questions should be posted on the discussion forum at my site, rather than being sent as personal email - but that's another story). One of the big frustrations when replying to email is all too often the sender of the email hasn't bothered to check if their 'reply-to' email address is correct. So when the recipient of this email (me) takes the time to craft and send a reply, the message never gets back to the original sender, because the reply address in invalid. The email is returned as 'undeliverable'. So if it seems no one ever replies to your email - check the 'reply-to' email address in your messages. If it is incorrect, no one can reply to your email - even if they want to!
