Don't Be Penny Wise And Pound Foolish
Bill Myers

Time is the key ingredient in most of our new projects - and it is also the one ingredient that money can't buy.

That's why it often makes sense to spend a few dollars if doing so can save you hours of unnecessary research or work.

An example - I needed a special program to complete a project. I could purchase the exact program I needed for $34.95, but I knew if I searched the internet, I could probably find an equivalent program for free.

I spent three hours searching and testing different 'free' programs - and eventually came to the conclusion that the $34.95 program was far better than any of the free programs - so I bought the $34.95 program.

Unfortunately, I wasted 3 hours of valuable time trying to find a free program just to save $34.95.

That was a very foolish investment of time on my part. Had I just purchased the $34.95 program to begin with, I could have saved almost a half day of work - which would be worth far more than the $34.95 I was trying to save. (Incidentally, you can see the program I purchased at < http://www.bmyers.com/pop >)
