Become a better writer
Bill Myers - August 20, 2010
Printer-Friendly Format

Here's a trick that can quickly improve your writing skills. Used by some of the best copywriters in the world, as well as some of the most famous authors. Try it and see how quickly it can improve your writing.

Back when I was writing sales letters for direct mail, one of the secrets world famous copywriter Gary Halbert shared with me was,

"After you write a sales letter, have someone read it back to you out loud".

When you hear the words as they were written, you'll quickly discover places where the flow is interrupted or where lapses in logic occur, or where a typo has snuck in.

When you hear these things, you'll know where corrections need to be made.

What Gary told me back then is still true today.

You can significantly improve the quality and flow of your writing by having someone read it back to you.

And one of the easiest ways to get your writing read back to you, is to use 'text-to-voice' software and your computer.

To show how this works, I've posted an article about this, with voice examples, in the free area of my site at http://www.bmyers.com/public/1091.cfm

Once you see and hear how this works, I think you'll understand how it can quickly improve your writing skills.

You'll also find other articles (and videos) on my site showing where to find text to voice software for free, and how to make the most of it.
