When using a contest to attract new customers and new visitors to your site, always follow up by giving out the prizes and telling who won them. Here's why

In a previous tip of the week, I mentioned one way to attract visitors and new customers to your web site is to have a contest and give away free prizes.

For example, you could offer a weekly prize give-away to members of your site.

And that's exactly what we have done at www.bmyers.com, and it has been a great success.

Right now we're nearly half way through our $6,000 give-away of video tools from ZKad Productions, and several lucky bmyers.com members have been randomly selected as winners and have had their prizes shipped to them via UPS.

And in the coming weeks, we'll continue to award prizes to members of our site. To be eligible, just be a member of our site and post or reply to a message in our forums.
