Writing your book
Bill Myers - April 24, 2010
Use this free tool to format your book to the sizes publishers and booksellers want to see on their shelves In my recent article, '$10,000 a Month in Amazon Sales', I showed how you can reach your income goals by selling a mix of products on Amazon.com . One of the products I suggested you create were books - and I showed a way you can get those automatically printed and shipped from Amazon. After that article appeared, I was asked 'what software should I use to write and format my book?' There are many options for book writing software, but a good choice would be the free Writer software in Open Office. Writer has all the power and features of Microsoft Word, but is much easier to use, and is free. More importantly, there are ready-to-use book layout templates for Open Office to create a great looking book. Of course, if you already have MS Word and like using it, you might want to try using that to create your book. But if you don't have MS Word, then consider using Open Office Writer. Writer is one of 5 programs found in Open Office, all of which work like their counterparts in MS Office. As I mentioned above, Open Office is absolutely free, and has all the functionality of MS Office. Find Open Office and download link at http://www.openoffice.org/
