Seeing is believing

A very important tip on how to increase your product sales, whether selling on eBay, Amazon, or your own web site

Imagine you have the opportunity to purchase a used car at a great price.

But there are three catches.

First, you can't view the car or any photos of the car before you purchase.

Second, you have to rely on the seller's description of the car and you have no idea how truthful the seller is.

And third, you have to send the seller payment and hope he fulfills by delivering the car he described.

So what would you do?

I don't know about you, but I think most people would walk away from the deal.

But that's what many sellers on the web offer their customers.

A promise of a product, no photos or images, and a demand for payment.

And when no buyers come forward, the seller wonders what went wrong.

The solution is to . . .

Always, always, always include images with any product you are trying to sell on the web.

The more expensive the item, the more images you should include. Even include video if you have it.

Case in point - my brother included more than 40 photos of an airplane in an auction he listed at eBay.

And those 40 photos and his description resulted in selling that airplane for more than $500,000.

Even if you are only selling a DVD, CD, or a eBook - include at least one image on the sales page.

Doing so will greatly increase your sales.
