Auction HotLister: Find niches and attract visitors to your web site by including customized eBay Hot Items listings on your web pages
Use this free research tool to find the hot items within any category or keyword at eBay, and to also create customized hot-item listings you can place on your web or blog pages to attract new visitors to your web site Let's say you have a web site for collectors of vintage watches. And you want to include a page on your site where visitors can view an always updated list of the vintage watches that get the most bids on eBay. The reason you want to do this is to give visitors of your site a unique research feature they can use related to the topic of your site (vintage watches). Something like:
With the above hot-list, visitors can quickly see which brands and which descriptions attract the most bids for vintage watches at ebay. And by checking the list every day, visitors will be able to learn what items are becoming the most valuable and most wanted within their niche at eBay. Creating something like this for you own web site can give visitors a reason to bookmark the page and come back often to check the latest results. This hot-list can also provide you and your visitors with a research tool useful for finding other niches filled with hot and most wanted items at eBay. Creating Hot Lists To create a hotlist like the one above, I used the free Auction Hot Lister creation tool. Using that tool, you select the country, the category, the number of listings you want to show, and click 'create hot list'. Auction Hot Lister creates the hot list for you, and gives you a code snippet you can paste into your web or blog pages to permanently include the hotlist. The hot-list always shows the current results from eBay - so it is never out-of-date, and changes with every bid at eBay. Since creating hot-lists like the one above can add interest to your niche topic site, and since it only takes a few seconds to create the hot-list, you might want to include several, showing the 'most wanted' items within sub-niches of the overall topic. Very Useful Whether you use Auction Hot Lister as a research tool, or to create hot-lists for visitors on your web site, you'll find it a valuable resource. FYI: I created the Auction Hot Lister software and web site, and it is part of a larger project I'm working on. Feel free to use it as you like, and provide any suggestions to make it better.
