Wow, I want one of those!
Bill Myers - September 3, 2009
Printer-Friendly Format

Why adding the Wow! factor to your products and business is vital to your success

So I recently purchased a boat, a used one, and have been updating some of the electronics on it.

One of the things I wanted was a new GPS system so I wouldn't get 'lost at sea' while boating off-shore.

When it comes to GPS selections, there are literally hundreds to choose from. A confusing array of sizes and prices.

But the one I chose is the one had me saying, 'Wow I want that!' as soon as I saw it.

It had a giant color screen, it showed GPS details as well as high resolution satellite photos, and had a 'while supplies last' price down from $1,399 to under $500.

Basically it had three 'wow factors' going for it - and that's what made me say 'wow, I want that' while reaching for my credit card.

The point of this is . . .

'Wow!' factors can make your product or service or business stand out from the crowd and significantly increase sales, increase word of mouth referrals, and increase after sale satisfaction of the product.

The good news is you can add 'wow' factors to almost any product or service. The bad news - most businesses fail to do this.

I've written more about this in an article on my site, 'Tips on how to add the Wow factor to your products or services'.
