In most cases, if you give people too many choices, whether it be at the grocery store, the car dealer, or your web site, they'll choose none.

One of my favorite books is 'The Paradox of Choice: Why More Is Less' by Barry Schwartz.

In the book, Schwartz shows us that having too many choices, whether it be at the grocery store, the car dealer, or business decisions, can be extremely counter productive.

In most cases, if you give people too many choices, they'll make none.

Or they'll regret the choice they made, assuming they could have made a better one.

When it comes to product development, many face the same dilemma. Too many choices of what to develop, what tools to use, what markets to target, etc.

But I have an easy solution.

Just choose the simplest projects. The kind that you can create and launch in 30 minutes or less.

These will be the ones you'll most likely get done, and the skills you learn while doing them will help you with your future projects.

That's why I've putting so many 'Easy 30 minute project' tutorials on my site lately.

Once you see how easy it can be to produce these 30 minute projects, the choice of what to do next becomes obvious - another 30 minute project.
