Now is a good time to stock up . . .

One of the best bits of advice for any entrepreneur is 'invest in yourself'.

This usually means invest in upgrading your skills, upgrading your tools, and upgrading the things you use to produce an income.

With the big holiday shopping season about to start, this can be a good time to do just that.

See, during the next few weeks you can expect retailers to offer deep discounts on many items in hopes of attracting shoppers.

For product developers, this can be good news - if you take advantage of these price cuts to invest in new technology for your office, and avoid spending money on gadgets you'll probably never use.

For example, this holiday shopping season could be a great time to invest in a new camcorder - like the Canon HV30 which can be found on Amazon for under $600 - which is an excellent choice for producing how-to videos.

And it could also be a good time to replace an older computer with a faster, more powerful one - like a super fast quad core system - these can be found for under $550.

And one of the best investments you can make in yourself is buying training products - especially DVDs and CDs that teach you new skills, and new ways to generate income.

By investing in yourself now, to improve your ability to generate income, you'll be ready to ramp up your business as the new year starts and the economy begins its recovery.
