A question about your business
Bill Myers - November 7, 2008
Printer-Friendly Format

As the world economy flounders and the leaders try to figure out what they can do about it, the big question you should ask about your own business is . . .

Are you selling what people who have money to spend, want to buy right now?

If you are not selling what people want to buy, or if you are not targeting people who have money to spend, the economic downturn could be a tough time for your business.

The good news is people with money are still spending money on the things they want to buy.

And a lot of those people look first on the internet to find the products they want.

As a product developer your job is to find out what people want to buy, and to create (or acquire) those products and make them available.

If you do that, you'll do well - regardless of whether the economy is good or bad.

So the question still is, 'are you selling what people want to buy?'.

If not, now is the time to change your product mix.
