So much opportunity, so little time
Bill Myers - November 1, 2008
Printer-Friendly Format

This past week I posted a 5-part article titled 'Your $300,000 a year business plan'.

The series covered finding the right niche market, developing the right products, setting perfect prices, and marketing. In short, how to put together a sustainable long term income from your product development business.

In part 5, I provided some examples of the kind of products that would help you reach that $300,000 a year goal.

As part of my research, I went to Amazon and discovered that many of their best selling software products don't have training DVDs for sale there.

To me, this is a real opportunity.

It means that anyone with Camtasia Studio screen recording software and a copy of any one of those best selling software products could create a training DVD, and have it on sale at Amazon before Christmas.

And having the only training DVD on Amazon for a top selling product is almost a guaranteed winner.

I should know, as my own software training DVD on Amazon is doing extremely well.

The great thing about selling DVDs on Amazon is they do all the work. They take the order, process the credit card, ship the product to the customer, and send you a payment.

All you have to do is develop the right product, and put it on Amazon for sale. (I cover how to do this in my article "Autopilot Marketing, Order Taking, Product Delivery - how it can earn you thousands a month").

Moral: Just a little research can almost always help you find the perfect product opportunity. All you have to do is take action.
