A template can save the day
Bill Myers - August 16, 2008
I rarely start any project, any document, any spreadsheet without first finding a template I can use as a starting point. That's because I've learned having the right template can often eliminate 75% of the work involved in getting a project completed. For example, if you needed to pitch a venture capitalist, it sure would be easier if you had a ready-to-use VC template to start with. Same goes if you needed to create a newsletter, or write a non-disclosure agreement, or prepare a event management checklist. Having a ready-to-use template for these tasks makes it a lot easier. The good news is you can find free templates for all the above, plus many more, at Google Docs. Each of these templates is ready-to-use, can be easily customized and can be shared with others via the web. Next time you start a project, check out the free templates at Google Docs. You may find half your work already done for you. Find Google Docs template at:
