Don't forget the main ingredient
Bill Myers - February 22, 2008
This week I posted an article on my site about what I think would be a great topic for a self published book or DVD. The topic is a happy one, and a product on that topic could appeal to a very large audience. More importantly, the topic has the one 'must have' ingredient for all successful how-to products. That most important ingredient is . . . HOPE. See, if the product gives potential customers "hope" that they can find treasures, or "hope" that they can accomplish tasks,
or "hope" that they can achieve whatever is promised within the book or DVD, then it will be that "hope" which actually moves the customer toward purchasing the product. But if the product doesn't offer 'hope', then there is no reason to buy it. So regardless of what else your product offers, "hope" should be near the top of the list. That's why I think the topic I mentioned in my article will have so much appeal - because it offers the 'hope'. Check out the article and you'll see what I mean.
