Internet Anywhere - even in a moving vehicle
Bill Myers - Jan 24, 2008
My wife Sonya and I have just returned from a 10 day road trip to Florida. We hadn't really planned the trip, but our local weather forecast was for ice and snow, so we thought it would be a great time to jump into motorhome and head toward the warm beaches of Florida. So that's what we did. Loaded up the motorhome, and headed south. We spent ten days with friends on Venice Island, Florida, catching up with the Florida real estate market, and checking out some interesting opportunities (which I'll be writing about on our site). One the things that made the trip more interesting, especially during the long drive, was a little device we picked up right before we left, which allows us to get high speed internet while on the road. By plugging this little $50 device into your laptop computer, you can get high speed internet - even while travelling down the highway at 70mph. It really worked out great. While I was driving down the road, Sonya could use her laptop computer to check her email, surf the web, get weather and traffic updates, even view videos on YouTube. And when she was driving, I could do the same. If you do much travelling and require internet anywhere, even while in a moving vehicle, you'll probably want to investigate these amazing little devices. We got ours from Alltel - I'll post a full article about it on our site.
