Keep it fresh
Bill Myers - January 19 2008

I visited a web site last week, and the main headline on one their products was 'New for 2007'.

Problem is, it is no longer 2007. It is 2008. And things that were new in 2007 can already seem outdated.

As a customer, I want what is new is 2008, and might delay my purchase if all I can get is 'new in 2007'.

Since the year is now 2008 and will probably remain so for another 12 months, it is a good idea to review your site and sales pages and remove or replace any outdated references to prior years.

And while you are at it, be sure to change the copyright date on your web site to 2008.

Doing so will keep your site looking fresh.
