Adding 'I want that' appeal to your products
Bill Myers, November 12, 2007
Printer-Friendly Format

One of the quickest ways to add 'I want that' appeal to your products is to include a free bonus - one that potential customers will value as much (or more) as the product itself.

For example, I recently completed a new DVD on 'Editing how-to videos with Sony Movie Studio', and I wanted to add something extra to give the DVD instant 'I want that' appeal.

To do that, I created a ready-to-use Sony Movie Studio project template for building 'how to' videos, and included it as a free bonus with the DVD.

This means purchasers of the DVD get a template they can open and immediately use to create their own how-to video.

Adding this bonus definitely creates more 'I want it now' appeal, and gives the customer a strong reason to purchase.

To see how I promote the free bonus on my sales page, check out http://www.bmyers.com/products/item22.cfm
