Make it real

One of the easiest ways to quickly increase the believability of your articles or sales pages is to include a photo of whatever the article is about, or of the product you are selling.

When visitors see the photos, they immediately put more faith in the words that accompany the photo - assuming the photo is a good one.

But if the quality of the photo is poor, especially if the photo is of a product, it can hurt, instead of help.

That's why you should use photos and images in your articles and sales pages, and why those photos should be high quality.

The good news is that even with a low cost digital camera, you can get great photos.

The bad news is that when trying to shoot product images, especially if those products are DVDs, books or software, it can be difficult, or in the case of software, almost impossible to get a product photo.

But, thanks to '3D box shot' software, you can usually create a professional looking image of your DVD, CD, book or software product.

I've been using one of these 3D boxshot tools to create images of all the new DVDs I've just produced, and the results are pretty impressive.

You can see an example of a 3D DVD box shot I created at http://www.bmyers.com/products/item21.cfm

If you want to see how I created these 3D box shots, check out the short video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4P8ayZAoqi8

If you are not including great product shots on your sales pages, you should try it. You might be surprised at how effective they can be.
