It's your choice - difficult or easy
Bill Myers - June 2, 2007

My experience has been that 'success in marketing starts when you choose the product you will be marketing'.

If you choose to market a product where there is no defined customer base, no demand for the product, and lots of competition, it will be difficult and expensive to achieve marketing success with that product.

But if you choose to market a product where there is a clearly defined target market of buyers who already want the product and have the ability to pay for the product and can't find the product from any other source, you'll usually find it fairly easy to be successful marketing that product.

When it comes to choosing products to create and market, I follow five basic rules. You can see me discussing these rules (as well as my marketing process) in a free video clip at http://www.bmyers.com/choices.html

And because I think the topic of choosing the right product is so important, I am granting reprint rights to the video and the article. Feel free to include on your own web pages if you like.
