I developed this program to make it easy to store and display videos and Camtasia movies at Amazon S3 storage, while at the same time, making it very difficult for others to steal bandwidth via unauthorized display of those videos.

I've decided to share this tool with you at no cost so you can too can reduce or eliminate bandwidth theft related to your own videos.

This program will help prevent bandwidth theft for videos of any format stored anywhere on the web - but I use it mostly for videos stored on Amazon S3.

1. Upload your video (or in the case of Camtasia Studio, the entire folder which contains your Camtasia output files) to your Amazon S3 folder or any folder on the web.
   
   
2. If uploading to Amazon S3, edit the ACL for the video folder and set 'Read' to 'Everyone'
   
   
3. Enter the full url of the video or the page that displays the video into the form below. If displaying Camtasia videos, enter the full url of the html page Camtasia created to display your video
   
   
4. Enter the height and width of the video into the form below - if the video has controls, pad the width by 5 pixels and the height by 25 pixels.
   
   
5. Click 'Create Protection Script'
   
   
6. Copy the code that is created and paste it on your web page where you wish your video to appear
