Are you using this 'deal breaker' phrase on your web pages?
Bill Myers
In business they are known as 'deal breakers'. Those last minute, usually unexpected, surprises or requirements that can break a deal. Just when you think the sale is ready to close, a deal breaker can pop up, causing the buyer (or seller) to walk away from the transaction. On the web, a very common deal breaker is the phrase, "Please allow 10 days for delivery". Telling a customer they will have to wait for days or weeks before they receive their purchase is almost always a deal breaker. To avoid this deal breaker, use the phrase, "Immediate shipping, with next day delivery available" on all your product sales pages and order forms. By letting the customer know that you can ship immediately, you are telling them the product is in stock, and they won't have to wait to get it. In effect, you turn a deal breaker into a deal maker.
